Hi, I’m the man behind MANBEARCOW. I make goofy, tag‑friendly music for TikTok and IG Reels. Yes, all that you see on MANBEARCOW TV and MANBEARCOW MEDIA was created by just one man. A man with a lifelong passion for music and making people laugh.
Once upon a time, I played live in nu‑metal and punk bands. No tours, no legend status, just enough gigs to legally say I’ve been paid to make noise on a stage. Then I took the “responsible adult” route and went to school instead of chasing music full‑time. Turns out AI and politics had other plans for that path anyway.
So now I’m circling back, this time with an entrepreneurial twist. I’m building a massive AI‑powered music catalog. The goal is 10,000 songs. I’m already past 1,500, which feels both impressive and mildly concerning.
To be clear: I don’t write the music, I write the lyrics, concepts, hooks, and dumb ideas. That’s always been my role in bands. I’m great at the spark, less great at shredding guitar solos or finishing entire songs alone. Historically, I handed my riffs or lyrics to bandmates and said, “Do your thing!”
In a perfect world, I’d say, “Yeah, I wrote that song myself.” But time, money, and reality said, “lol, no.”
Then AI music tools dropped in 2024, and suddenly I was sitting on a goldmine. Years of lyrics and half‑finished ideas - some from old blogs, some from crumpled paper in a box since high school - finally had a way out. Now I can bring those ideas to life on my own, with full control.
At the end of the day, these songs are mine. I own them. 100%. I don’t see this any differently than a lyricist handing words to a performer, except I keep the creative control and get to release a ridiculous amount of music.
And honestly?
I think that’s pretty fucking awesome.
